Leah is a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist who is passionate about working with individuals, couples and families experiencing challenges with addiction, communication, transition, feeling stuck, the impact body image and relationship, or simply having to balance the day to day of life and relationships. Leah believes that our thoughts, feelings, and actions are interwoven with one another and it is through understanding that we begin to appreciate who we are and how we've interacted with the world. Because no two people are the same, Leah's approach to therapy is adaptive to who she is working with.
Leah earned her Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from St. Mary's University and Bachelor of Arts in Corrections and Sociology from Minnesota State University, Mankato. Leah has 14 years of experience working social services and mental health. Leah has training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectic Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused, and Narrative therapies.
Leah is compassionate, warm, down to earth, non-judgmental, and person-centered. Leah has empathy for how we cope with the complexities of relationships and day to day life. She is eager to join you on your journey and work together so you can feel secure as your own person.
