Samantha has been employed in behavioral health for 16 years and a counselor & therapist working in the addiction and mental health field since 2009. She approaches all individuals with compassion and validation, since we are all a result of our environment, developmental experiences and genetic dynamics. She received her Masters degree at the University of St. Thomas & College of St. Catherine joint program. Her undergraduate degree in psychology at Augsburg College and additional undergraduate training in addiction at the University of Minnesota.
She utilizes EMDR and primarily operates from a psychodynamic perspective, identifying underlying behavioral patterns that impact development, thinking and emotional states.
