Kristine (she/her) provides experiential, somatic and cognitive behavioral interventions to youth, young adults, and individuals seeking a deeper connection with themselves and the natural world. She prefers to provide therapeutic services outside for those who would be an appropriate fit.
She holds a Master of Social Work with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health from the University of Minnesota and completed her clinical internship at Minneapolis Nature-Based Therapy.
Kristine has experience working with children and adolescents across a variety of settings, including mental health day treatment, athletic coaching, summer camps, restorative circles, and juvenile diversion programs. She is trained in Collaborative Problem Solving, civil mediation, circle keeping, and supporting gender-expansive youth. Her approach is client-centered and collaborative, drawing from restorative frameworks to help individuals build self-awareness and strengthen their relationships with others and their communities.
Kristine is a light-hearted, empathetic, and passionate therapist who brings warmth and humor to her work. She believes deeply in the healing power of nature and the benefits of using nature as a therapeutic partner. In her practice, she integrates nature-based tools to support clients on their healing journeys and is committed to making the benefits of nature accessible year-round. While her primary focus is on youth and young adults, she welcomes individuals of all ages who align with her values and therapeutic style.
