Brittany is licensed as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (APRN). She has been a nurse for over 25 years and over 15 years of experience in mental health. Brittany believes that mental health is just as important as physical health. If we don’t care for ourselves, we can’t care for others. Brittany listens in a non-judgmental and compassionate manner so you feel heard. She believes in meeting people where they are at and provide individualized care and work with patients to develop their goals and plan of care.

Developing positive coping skills, treatment planning, referrals as needed, medication management, connection to therapy resources available are important. She also has an interest in complementary and alternative medicines including CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), mindfulness as well as motivational interviewing. Brittany completes diagnostic assessments, medication management and follow-ups, and individual treatment plans unique to each patient both in person and via telehealth.

Brittany has a passion for patients who experience anxiety, depression, and PTSD with experience in bipolar disorder, psychosis/schizophrenia, sleep disorders and insomnia. She has worked in forensic mental health as well as inpatient psychiatry. She has many years of experience working with those who have personality disorders and criminal backgrounds.

In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, her pets (cats and dogs), reading, enjoying the outdoors, concerts, decorating, movies and reading.

Brittany has her Masters of Nursing with certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She graduated from Purdue Global University in 2023.
