Hi, I'm Chloe! I am a pre-licensed clinician dedicated to maternal mental health and holistic wellbeing. I have a background in Kinesiology, (BS, UMN) and Clinical Mental Health Counseling (MS, Capella). I specialize in the deep connection between physical and mental health. Particularly, I focus on mind body connection that is especially vital during pregnancy, the postpartum period, and the transition into motherhood.

The journey to and through motherhood involves profound physical, emotional, and psychological shifts. Whether you are navigating prenatal anxiety, postpartum depression, birth trauma, or the massive identity shift of becoming a mother (matrescence), you do not have to do it alone. As a specialist in perinatal mental health and a mother myself, I provide a compassionate, non-judgmental space to help you heal. I also offer DC 0-5 Assessments to support early childhood and infant mental health, ensuring both you and your little one thrive.

Pregnancy and postpartum change your body and your nervous system. By integrating my background in Kinesiology with somatic regulation, I help mothers reconnect with their bodies, regulate their nervous systems, and process trauma physically as well as emotionally.

My Approach

I provide person-centered care tailored to your specific needs. Using ACT, CBT and DBT frameworks, I help clients navigate low mood, anxiety, self-criticism, and complex suicidal ideation. I am also an ally to the BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities and can offer a Christian perspective in therapy for those who request it. I also integrate movement, dance, and art into therapy helping find unique ways to cope.

Interests: Outside of my practice and staying home with my kids, I teach dance and enjoy singing, reading, and film.

Experience

I have several years of experience across residential treatment (IRTS), substance use, adolescent day treatment, and outpatient clinics, providing individual, group, and family therapy.
